Both Megan and Jordan were calm and excited on the morning of their wedding day. These two knew that the day was finally here, and they couldn’t wait to become husband and wife! Megan and Jordan are encouraging, serving, sacrificial, and kind in all that they do- so it was wonderful to see them have a day that was all about celebrating their love!

We were excited to capture their first look at River Run Golf Course. I love the butterflies that everyone gets (Cody + I included) when our brides walk up to their groom for the first time!! It is such an exciting and joyful thing to experience, and Jordan was simply in awe of how beautiful his bride looked!! It was the sweetest. He even took a few steps back after their big hug and simply took in her beauty all over again. We love first looks!!

These flower girls were the kindest and cutest bridal party members!! They personally shook everyone’s hand after the ceremony and said “Thank you for coming!!” I was dying over the sweetness.

Time to bustle the dress and start the party! 🙂

 

This was an extra special moment as Jordan’s grandpa said a prayer over the evening.

 

 

One of our favorite parts of the wedding day is when we get the chance to sneak our couples out of the reception and get some sunset photos. The portraits at the beginning of the day are always sweet and exciting, but these sunset photos usually end up being some of our favorites! Megan and Jordan were completely relaxed, knowing all the “hard” parts of the day were over! And they even got to get a little private practice in for their first dance!

I loved this trail mix buffet!! So yummy!

Megan + Jordan, we hope the first few days of marriage have been filled with joy and surprises! One of the best pieces of marital wisdom Cody and I ever received was to make sure that we were always fighting “for” one another. Whether it be defending your spouses honor or humbling yourself during an argument- if you strive to be one another’s biggest cheerleader you will do incredible things.
