The Villa Louis Mansion sits on a hill, surrounded by lush, green trees. It is a place full of stories, from years past. One of those stories is Trevor and Ciara’s. Trevor and Ciara both worked at the Villa Louis throughout their high school and college years. As they began dating, the Villa Louis was a special place for the both of them. It was no surprise that Trevor would use this place as part of his proposal plan. His plan was full of intentionality: it happened during Christmas (her favorite time of year), he hid the ring in the dining room (her favorite room in the house), and their family was there to celebrate with them.

When it came time for Trevor and Ciara to say “I do,” the Villa Louis was their only choice. The weather had a different plan, though! When we arrived to the gorgeous Waterfront Hotel where Ciara and her bridesmaids were getting ready, plans were being discussed about ceremony location spots due to the rainy weather. Ciara was absolutely calm and collected through it all, it was amazing! The wonderful owners of the hotel offered up the lobby space for an indoor ceremony. A lobby doesn’t sound like much, but this isn’t any ordinary lobby! Floor to ceiling windows overlook the Mississippi River, and the view is stunning!! It was the perfect solution! The rain stopped just in time for the reception held at the Villa Louis. Food trucks, cupcakes, and dancing filled the evening.

Ciara and Trevor’s vows had everyone in tears. These two know each other so well, and they both spoke about how much they have changed for the better since first meeting. It is obvious to anyone on the outside that Ciara and Trevor bring out the best in one another. They are the kindest and most thoughtful people! It was an absolute honor capturing their day, and we hope that you enjoy our favorites from their special day.

 

 

Ciara + Trevor, we know that your marriage is going to be a light to those around you. Cody and I know that others will become better just by knowing you.
