Whitney and Alex had the most perfect light for their La Crosse engagement session. The cloud coverage diffused the sunlight in the best way, and these are some of my favorite images from this engagement season!  Cody and I always have the goal of making our couples feel comfortable enough to be their true selves during sessions. We LOVE getting the chance to build relationships with our couples. Usually after their inquiry meeting (over coffee) we end up chatting even longer with our couples turned friends. When Whitney inquired, we weren’t able to meet up in person. She and Alex and I videochatted. I always try to make an extra effort on engagement sessions with couples who we haven’t had the chance to meet in person with yet.

It can be an intimidating thing!! Having someone follow you around with cameras while yelling “Yes! Nuzzle in close!” is definitely not normal..haha! But Alex and Whitney were comfortable from the start! They have sweet and fun personalities. We talked about their house that they have slowly made a home. They shared about their cats and how silly they are. Needless to say, we had a great time!
