As I slowly approached the bridal suite at Tansy Hill Farm, Kayla and her closest family and friends were circled around with their heads bowed in prayer. Kayla’s mom, Lauri, pushed past some happy tears in order to pray over Kayla and Jerrad’s new journey as husband and wife. It was a beautiful and intimate moment and the perfect example of the meaning behind this wedding day. Tansy Hill Farm was a beautiful backdrop. All of Kayla’s effort to decorate and curate a gorgeous atmosphere for the day did not go unnoticed by any guest. Next, we can’t not point out Kayla’s wedding dress- so uniquely beautiful in so many ways. However, all of those things took second place to the love and joy that Kayla and Jerrad share.

Kayla and Jerrad wrote their own vows and read them aloud in front of their family and friends at the ceremony. Tears, laughter, and love filled the whole space as they spoke about their relationship and how much it has grown over the past three years. Kayla described how moving to a new city was filled with unplanned events that didn’t seem to make sense. Until she met Jerrad. Jerrad explained never thinking he would ever get married, because hunting and friends were enough for him. Until he met Kayla.

As their friends and family listened to them share their story and vow their love to one another, most had smiles beaming on their faces. They witnessed Kayla and Jerrad’s love grow firsthand. Kayla + Jerrad’s family and friends surrounded them with love and support throughout the entire day.
