Who knew as these two stepped onto UW Eau Claire campus their freshman year that they would walk the nature trail only a few years later with their fiancé?! Bryce and Emily met their freshman year of college. Both in the Honor’s Society, it was obvious from our first meeting with them that they both were incredibly hard working, driven, and smart! During that freshman year, Emily and Bryce found themselves at many of the same events and gatherings. It didn’t take long for them to decide to make it official and start dating.

The UW- EC campus and Eau Claire in general are so special to them both, as it is were everything in their story began! It’s also the place where Bryce got down on one knee and proposed to Emily. Bryce proposed on a bright fall day in November. Emily’s closest friends were in on the secret (guys, when in doubt, get her friends involved and all will go well!) and they had planned a photo session. Emily was thinking they were going to grab some fun and cute pictures for social media. Then Bryce announced that he was coming along as well, which Emily immediately was suspicious about..haha! However, the proposal was perfection and Emily was still surprised.

The Nature Trail at UW Eau Claire campus only seemed fitting for Bryce and Emily’s engagement session. I absolutely love the dreamy feel of the photos of them in the snow covered trail! We connected with our mutual love for the show The Office and the comedian John Mulaney. What stuck out to me most was how Bryce and Emily could barely go a few minutes without giggling at each other or busting out into wide grins. Cody and I get so excited when our couples genuinely LOVE spending time with one another, and it is so evident that Emily and Bryce are best friends. We cannot wait to watch their love grow even deeper as they embark on this season of engagement.
