Laura & Nathan’s Eau Claire, Wisconsin Wedding was incredibly unique, romantic, and overall beautiful! When Laura was putting on her dress she told me that when she first tried it on it gave her Romeo and Juliet vibes. I absolutely agree, and I feel like that was the image I had in mind during all of Laura and Nathan’s portraits together throughout the day. Together with her romantic flowy dress and his sharp black suit and classic details, it was impossible to take a bad photo of these two!

Laura & Nathan both curated gorgeous details that were so much fun to photograph. I love how a bride and groom’s details can showcase a lot about their personalities. The fact that they wrote each other letters and sealed them with red wax and a heart stamp made me swoon, and photographing their written vows was even more special! It is so evident that these two care deeply for each other and they are not afraid to show their affection.

Laura & Nathan chose to celebrate with their closest family and friends, and it was an intimate celebration. Their ceremony took place at the charming Hoover Chapel in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. It was such a unique and cozy spot to say “I do!” Afterward, the guests and the newlyweds spent time chatting in the shade of the tall trees. The weather was absolutely perfect, and the lighting for their family formals was some of the dreamiest we’ve ever been blessed with!

We ended the day at Bye the Willow for Nathan and Laura’s reception. Meaningful speeches brought tears to many eyes (mine included), a 10-pound cheesecake and cupcakes were enjoyed, and Laura and Nathan snuck away for a few sunset portraits in the quiet nearby creek. Watching Laura successfully descend a very sketchy staircase to the creek gave me flashbacks to their Big Falls engagement session- if you haven’t seen the photos yet, it is a must!
