Kelly & Kyle did not disappoint for their Madison Wisconsin Capitol Portrait session! Despite it being freezing cold and very windy, these two didn’t let that stop them from enjoying their time together. I’ve said it before and I’m not sure I’ll ever stop saying it- the Wisconsin State Capitol is one of my favorite spots for engagement and portrait sessions! It offers variety and an elegant feel to any photography session. Kelly & Kyle had originally planned their session for downtown Chicago (which is another one of my favorite spots!) but we had to reschedule due to weather. They had really been hoping for fall colors during their session, so we were all crossing our fingers some leaves would remain on the trees. Surprisingly, we were blessed with trees still full of colorful fall leaves, particularly one stunning tree at the Capitol!
Kelly and Kyle were married in an intimate ceremony in 2020. They are excited to celebrate with all their family and friends next June in South Elgin, IL. Despite the challenges that a lot of couples have had to face with rescheduling wedding dates or planning additional wedding celebrations, I think it is so special that Kelly and Kyle will get to celebrate their marriage and how they’ve grown in their first few years come June 2022!
One thing I noticed right away was how Kelly & Kyle’s smiles instantly light up their surroundings! It is so evident that together they have so much joy. Enjoy our favorites from this Madison Wisconsin Capitol and Tenney Park portrait session!
Kelly & Kyle- we cannot wait to celebrate your marriage this coming June!
