Kelly and Kraig’s Paine Art Center and Gardens Wedding was unlike any other wedding we have ever experienced! We have been lucky to photograph a few of our past couples at the Paine, but Kelly and Kraig’s wedding was absolutely unique in that an art installation called The Nature of Light: An Exploration After Dark was happening at the time of Kelly and Kraig’s Oshkosh wedding! This installation was absolutely breathtaking to experience first hand, and the photographs hardly do it justice! The grounds of the Paine had beautiful structures that slowly began to glow as the night got darker. The shadows they cast and the additional lights of the grounds made the evening feel like a fairy tale! Cody and I had such a wonderful time experiencing it all with Kelly and Kraig during their sunset and night time portraits.

When preparing for Kelly & Kraig’s wedding day, I couldn’t help but be filled with excitement! Kelly and Kraig are both some of the sweetest and most joyful people Cody and I have had the pleasure of meeting. They really do radiate happiness and joy in whatever room they walk into! And once you get them together, there’s no stopping their smiles and laughter. It makes sense when you find out they’ve been together since early high school – they are simply each other’s best friend. Just wait until you see the photos of Kraig’s reaction to seeing Kelly for the first time!

Their wedding day was full of bright sun, beautiful florals by Oshkosh House of Flowers, and the kindest family members and guests. After a beautiful ceremony in the gardens of the Paine, the reception began with a touching speech from Kelly’s father. He exuded pride for his daughter and her accomplishments (Kelly just graduated law school!), but more so he spoke how proud he was of the person she has become and how happy he is she found Kraig. Kelly and Kraig’s siblings and friends shared how they love each one of their quirks and fun spirits and how it is evident that Kelly and Kraig belong together. Cody and I couldn’t agree more, and we loved celebrating as Kelly and Kraig became husband and wife!
