Suncrest Gardens Farm Wedding

Suncrest Gardens Farm Wedding

October 18, 2023

The air was crisp and chill as we arrived to Suncrest Gardens for Emily and Zack’s October wedding day. The leaves had just started turning into their glorious fall oranges & gold, and the valley backdrop of the farm was stunning. Emily had just finished getting ready as we arrived, and her family with her were calm and full of smiles as they prepared for the day ahead. Zack and his brother were setting up the reception area and sporting steam punk sunglasses just for fun. You can usually tell what the vibe of the wedding day will be like from the first few moments with the bride and groom as they get ready, and Emily and Zack were perfectly relaxed and ready to celebrate.

What sticks out to me most as I look back on Zack and Emily’s wedding day is how it was intentional and intimate. They knew at the start of planning that they wanted their wedding day to be a small gathering of the people that meant the most to them- their closest family & friends. Emily added family heirlooms to her look, including  her grandmother’s wedding ring and her mother’s necklace. Emily’s grandfather (Opa to anyone who knows him) got ordained just for the occasion. He and his bride have just recently celebrated 60 years together! It was so meaningful to watch him be the one to announce them as husband and wife.

As we were packing up to leave for the night, we ran into Opa once again. He said to us “You could tell from the first time you saw the two together that it was right- you could just see it in their eyes.” And how right he is! I hope the photos do justice to how beautiful and special this day was for everyone involved! Enjoy our favorite images from Emily and Zack’s Suncrest Gardens Farm Wedding!

Emily and Zack, Cody and I had such a wonderful time celebrating with you and your family! We cannot wait to see what the future holds for you both!
