The Capitol, Allen Centennial Gardens, and Picnic Point…these quintessential Madison spots were all the perfect backdrops for Sara and Evan’s engagement session. These two are the absolute SWEETEST couple. Sara could barely keep a smile off her face, whether we were taking pictures or not!!

I absolutely loved getting the chance to meet these two in person. Each time Cody and I set them in a pose, Sara would just beam up at Evan- you could tell she feels like the luckiest girl ever to have this guy by her side!! As for Evan, he is totally counting his lucky stars to have Sara by his side.

And if Sara + Evan weren’t already perfectly joyful, place them in front of the gorgeous Madison State Capitol and WOW!! There were thunderstorms in the forecast. Sara and I were talking the day of to set a plan in place if the weather was less than ideal- and I just kept praying that God would clear the skies. Well, He gives good gifts to his children!! We had a beautiful session, with totally clear skies!  We had such a good time capturing this engagement session, enjoy our favorite images of Sara + Evan!

Sara + Evan, we hope you soak up all of these moments as an engaged couple. Engagement can be a season full of excitement, joy, and anticipation. It can also have moments of stress and hardship as you plan for one of the most important days in your life! Cling to one another and look to God to fill you with more joy!! I am confident we won’t be able to stop smiling in January as we capture you both becoming husband and wife at The Howard!
