Tansy Hill Farm glowed in the sunlight. Chelsea was beaming as she faced the camera. Behind her, Chris turned slowly and got his first glance of his bride on their wedding day. He walked towards her and embraced her in a huge hug from behind. The two fit together like puzzle pieces, each giggling and excited to finally be together. Most importantly, their first thoughts weren’t about what each other was wearing and how they looked. They simply hugged and kissed and stayed close to one another. Slowly Chris backed away and took in his bride. Chelsea twirled like a princess, all while wearing the most gorgeous smile.
The two shared personal vows together in private. As their voices quietly shared promises to each other, the wind rustled through the tree branches. Their friends and family were all close and waiting in the barn and suites, ready to celebrate with them! Chris and Chelsea both are incredibly kind and tender hearted. Their pastor shared that when he asked them both the question “What do you think the purpose of your marriage is?” they both shared that their hope was to serve the other as best as they could. It is evident that they both seek to serve their friends and family so well. Both Chelsea and Chris have families who have taught them these values, and it was such an honor to see their familiar faces after Caterina + Josiah’s wedding!
Tansy Hill Farm is a perfect venue for outdoor ceremonies! There is such variety of gorgeous backdrops! I loved how Chris and Chelsea set up their ceremony site, it looked out of a fairy tale! The barn area has the perfect lower level for cocktail hour, and Evolutions In Design absolutely rocked the florals and decorations! The reception was full of laughs and happy tears as family and friends shared stories about Chris and Chelsea. They spoke of Chris’s unique food tastes, for example his love for mac and cheese and his dislike for peanut butter and jelly being together.
Those who spoke of Chelsea shared about her competitive spirit and her love for adventure. Joy and laughter filled the night as Chelsea and Chris began their first dance. They must have great taste, because they danced to the same song Cody and I danced to on our wedding day!! š However, they mixed it up and started the party halfway through their dance as they began showing off their true skills!
Ā The guests were enjoying their pie and gelato, meanwhile we snuck out to end the evening with Chris and Chelsea. Because they were still full of snuggles and kisses, we captured a few last photos together. All we can say is this day was gorgeous, and we can’t wait to show our favorite images. Enjoy!!
Chelsea and Chris, we were honored to share in your wedding day! These images fill us with joy and smiles, so we hope they do the same for you! We are rooting for you and cheering you on as you begin your adventure of marriage! xoxo, Andrea + Cody
