The sun was peeking through the trees, the air was warm, And the Wausau Country Club was showing off for Emily and Bryce’s wedding. As we walked into the girls getting ready space, everyone seemed relaxed and excited for the day to come. As I spoke with Emily, she mentioned how everything was going so well and how excited she was to see Bryce!
Throughout their wedding day, there were so many reminders that Emily and Bryce are surrounded by love. Their family and friends spoke beautiful words about each of their characters. Emily’s maid of honor spoke about finding a friend with who she really could connect, and be her true self. Bryce’s best man shared that he never expected a random roommate could turn out to be his best friend, but Bryce ended up being the perfect match. When Bryce and Emily found each other, It was obvious to their friends and family that they had found their lifelong partner. It turns out that being together helped Emily and Bryce be the best versions of themselves.
I can’t tell you about this wedding day without including how meaningful the relationship between Emily and her father is. As Emily and her dad shared a first look before the ceremony, it was easy to see they were both holding back tears. During his speech at the reception, Emily’s dad shared about the pride he felt watching his baby perform in musicals and theater productions. He shared that he had thought of her future wedding day as he held her as a baby during some of the first few moments of her life. Emily’s dad shared that the time had come for him to pass his baby on to be cared for and supported by her now husband. This picture was made even more evident during their first dance, which ended with Emily walking away from her father to her new husband. You’ll see in the photos that Emily and her dad weren’t the only ones moved to tears by this moment!!
