Christine & Nathaniel’s Jefferson Street Inn Wausau Wedding was one of the most relaxed and calm wedding days we have ever experienced. Both Christine and Nathaniel knew this is what they wanted for their day, so they planned and took care of each and every detail beforehand. When Cody and I arrived at each of their getting ready spaces, both the bride and groom were contently hanging out with their closest friends. Christine and Nathaniel were completely at peace and simply excited for the day to come.

After photographing their gorgeous details (I love when a bride’s details all are so complimentary!), it was time for Christine to step into her wedding dress. Her mother helped Christine put on a necklace that her father actually had gifted to her mother when they were engaged! One of Christine’s bridesmaids asked her if it was starting to feel real now that she was in her dress, and Christine responded that she thought it would sink in once Nathaniel saw her in it…how sweet!

The first look and ceremony took place at Stewart Park. The park is truly charming and was the perfect spot for Christine and Nathaniel’s wedding ceremony. The giant pines, long aisle, and beautiful floral arrangements made a gorgeous backdrop for their purposeful ceremony. They were married by friends from their home church in Chicago, a husband and wife team. During the ceremony, Christine and Nathaniel were joined by their guests in songs of worship. It was beautiful listening to the crowd in song while standing behind the last row of chairs and taking in the entire scene. I’m not sure I’ve seen a couple smile wider than these two did when they were pronounced husband and wife!

The reception space at Jefferson Street Inn was totally transformed by Evolutions in Design Floral. Each centerpiece and floral arrangement was breathtaking. Nathaniel and Christine’s parents surrounded them as Christine’s father prayed. During the anniversary dance, there were multiple couples dancing who had shared 30+ years of marriage together. The last couple on the dance floor encouraged Christine and Nathaniel to follow their dreams together and to trust God. Cody and I have no doubt that this is exactly what Christine and Nathaniel will continue to do!
