Winnebago Springs Fall Wedding

Winnebago Springs Fall Wedding

November 3, 2021

We could not have been blessed with a more perfect October day for this Winnebago Springs fall wedding! The weather was just one thing that blew me away about this day. Natalie & Tyler were one of the most present bride & groom we have ever captured. I canā€™t count how many times both of them were moved to happy tears just living in the moment of their wedding day! They worked so hard to create a purposeful and meaningful wedding day, and Cody and I were honored to capture it.

Some little things that made an impact on me throughout the day were: Natalie wearing baby’s breath in her hair from the first bouquet Tyler ever gifted her, Tyler’s sweet look of awe when he first saw Natalie, Natalie’s and Tyler’s moving vows, and their closest family and friends joining Natalie’s uncle in singing the Doxology before their meal. These are only a few of the beautiful moments that stuck out to me during their day!

Winnebago Springs is an extra special spot to Natalie, as she has been visiting it with her church family for years. There is a waterfall where the church conducted baptisms, and a huge yard where their church had picnics. The place was eventually purchased by one of her family members, which made it the perfect spot for Natalie and Tyler’s wedding day. The ceremony took place in the gorgeous open air chapel. Past the bride and groom, through the fall colors in the trees, the waterfall was visible throughout the ceremony.

After preforming their unity ceremony, Natalie and Tyler took a moment to look out into the crowd at their closest family and friends. Natalie said ā€œWe are just taking it all in.ā€ Tears flowed from both of their eyes as they looked upon the faces of all those who had an impact of their lives and their relationship.

Just hours before this moment, Tyler and Natalie had shared their first look in this exact spot where they stood now looking at their guests. After they hugged and wiped away tears from seeing each other for the first time, they surveyed the empty chapel.Ā Ā Tyler said in disbelief, ā€œTo think that in just a few hours this space is going to be full?ā€ And they both teared up again. This is what I mean when I say that both Natalie and Tyler were fully present in each moment of their day!!

Enjoy our favorites from this beautiful Winnebago Springs Wedding, and see if you can spot all the happy tears šŸ™‚
