Hannah and Caleb were married at The Gibson Social Club in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. To quote Cody, “What a way to start our wedding season!!” I could not agree more! As we walked into the Gibson Social Club, Cody and I were immediately in awe! The entryway bar and lounge area is filled with the most beautiful natural light and has a curated elegance to it. As you step into the main space, even more light pours in through the tall ceilings. The Gibson Social Club is a new event space in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It is a historic building that has been transformed into a beautiful space that feels both industrial and elevated!

We met Hannah as she was helping prepare some of the finishing touches of the ceremony and reception space. Her joy was so palpable, I think she was glowing all day long! After capturing Hannah and Caleb’s Appleton engagement session, I am not lying when I tell you I was counting down the days until their wedding. Hannah and Caleb share a love that is really difficult to put into words, but I guarantee you’ll feel it by looking at their photos. Words that don’t do it justice but that come to mind when I think of Hannah and Caleb are tender, whole, humble, devotion, and joy. One of the most beautiful pieces of the day for me was getting to meet some of their closest friends and family. It was evident that these people helped shape Hannah and Caleb into the people they are today. There were always people around to help, encourage, and share in the joy of the day. When I was taking some getting ready photographs of the bridesmaids, I told Hannah to take a photo looking at each of her bridesmaids. It didn’t take too long before the happy tears were flowing and the bridesmaids were all brought to tears thinking of their best friend and the love of her life.

After going through the images from their wedding day, I couldn’t help but see some precious similarities between Hannah’s first look with her father and her first look with Caleb. As Hannah’s mother and father walked to the spot where he would see Hannah, they both wore the biggest smiles. As Caleb waited for Hannah, he couldn’t help but smile knowing she was right behind him! Both Hannah’s dad and Caleb had the sweetest reactions to seeing her for the first time. Their mouths both opened in huge smiles of surprise and joy! I even heard Hannah and her father sharing something about her dad being her first “blue-eyed love.” Isn’t that the absolute sweetest thing??

Hannah and Caleb had their first look and portraits at The Paine Art Center and Gardens. Cody and I are in love with this space, and it was a stunning backdrop for Hannah and Caleb’s bride and groom portraits and wedding party portraits! The Paine is a historic estate featuring beautiful gardens and architecture. Even in the early spring, we were able to have some green backgrounds, which was the perfect way to compliment to their portraits at The Gibson.

When I reflect back on Hannah and Caleb’s wedding day, I see divine purpose and intention. God had such a hand in bringing these two people together and crafting their story. Hannah and Caleb already are impacting and encouraging others, and we fully believe they will continue to do so in their marriage.
